Hi! I was originally looking at the Old Man Mountain Divide thinking it would cost me 168$ / 1100 dkk (Barely within my budget), but adding the thru axle kit and shipping and its up over 315$ / 2000 dkk… Yikes.
So I'm back in the deep end, trying to find a compatible frontrack. And I'm completely lost in the jungle here. Does anyone know which frontrack would fit this Bike, that doesn't cost +315$?
I've looked at Tubus racks, but since I don't have a side-oriented eyelets, I don't think any of them are compatible. The only mounting point I have, are the rear-oriented mounting point for the front-fender. And I don't know If I wanna mess with that for the rack. So what ever rack I would get, would have to be heavy-duty ziptied, or hoseclamped on.. or? Whats your ideas? recommendations? thoughts? I'm completely lost here, and my trip is in 35 days, and I have to find, order, receive and do test runs and have time left-over to buy something else if it doesn't work :/
Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Ortlieb fork pack
Strap a cage to each fork leg for lightweight stuff. And a handlebar bag.
Other than the fork cage/bag suggestion, maybe something like this low-rider rack:

Can use on front or back, hardtail or FS.
I’ve used the original Freeloader rack (NZ designed) on the 1000km Munda Biddi MTB trail. This rack was originally called a Freeloader but the design was purchased by Thule & marketed as Pack n Pedal. I really rate them.
