  1. I bet you’re going to have loads of fun on this thing! Any bike is a good bike.
The best thing you can do for any bicycle is to clean and lube it. Soap and water are fine, just dry it off! You should give every part of the bike a good washing. Dawn Powerwash works wonders! Use a rag or soft sponge. I like the “Scrub Daddy” sponges and old rags for my bike.
“TriFlow” is the lubricant of choice for most cyclists. Lubricate the chain, cables, derailleurs, shifters, and the moving parts of the brakes. Make sure to wipe off the rims where the brakes touch!
New tires and tubes are probably a good idea. It’s not a very hard upgrade, but it can be finicky. Grab some tire levers when you buy the new parts :)!

Have fun with your new bike :).

    Super cute!!

FYI – when you prop it on the kickstand like that, turn the front wheel to the left, not the right, so it’s more stable. A swift breeze could blow that over right now, which I’m sure you don’t want (especially if you’ve got stuff in that basket).

    Have fun!
