Looking to buy my first bike. Going with the used route. Reading all about them and trying to learn. Found this one and is willing to take $2k picked up (3 hour trip). Good bike for someone that’s 5’6 and something that can be enjoyed for years on end? Would take to my local bike shop to have the brake repaired.

That’s one hell of a first bike lol. That’s a size small so I think you would be a little tall for that according to their sizing. But it’s all about feel. Great bike though.
Use pinkbike.com buy and sell while looking for mtbs.
I’d offer $1600 and definitely wouldn’t pay more than $2000.
Sick bike though. My first real MTB was a Bronson 3.
It’s a great first bike (it, or similar, is many people’s dream bike) it looks to be a Bronson. An all mountain build so the suspension isn’t too much or too little. carbon, including those crank arms I believe. Looks cared for. Ask him when the fork and the shock were serviced last so that you know. I’d buy it, nice price.
