Brought this beauty second hand a few months back, it is my first Mountain Bike so I was wondering if I should replace the Tires as visually they look quite worn.
I wouldn't ask this question as I know it's a simple thing but since I haven't used brand new tires yet I have nothing to compare it too.

The Bike rolls fine on flowy and rocky trails however it loses grip when rolling over trails overflown with leaves and sand if that helps.

The Bike is a Polygon Siskiu T7 with 29' Wheels.

Thanks!

those are going to be less good than brand new tires, but imho, those have some life left in them and replaceing them with the same exact thing brand new isn’t going to blow your mind.

you will always have to use good technique when dealing with sand/leaves.

All that being said if you upgrade to better tires you will notice that a bit. Check around with people who ride the same trails that you do/bike shops on what some good tires are for the local conditions.

Nah. Most bikes lost some grip over loose leaves and sand, so that’s normal.

  3. It’s not just the height and condition of the knobs. If they are old, the rubber can get hard which reduces grip a lot.
