I bought a new bike and I noticed that when I'm in a lower gear, the chainring derailleur tends to make a strange noise (from what I've noticed the chain is touching the derailleur). What can I do? Could I somehow adjust the derailleur so that it doesn't "rub" against the chain anymore?

Yes. There are H & L limit adjusters on the derailleurs.
A little bit of rub is normal if you’re cross chained (larges on front and largest on back, or smallest and smallest). You shouldn’t really be riding like that because you can get that same gear ratio with the correct front gear selected. But short answer is yes, you can adjust the front derailleur. Look up Park Tool on YouTube and find their video on front derailleur adjustment. It’s super easy, just need a regular Phillips #2 screwdriver.
If you are in lower gear then you maybe shouldnt be at the big ring up front. I usualy do use big ring and 3rd gear but never 1 and 2. Same when in high gears. If you are going faster once you shift 4-5 its time to go big ring and downshift a ring or two. You cant adjust your shifters to go to extreme positions without rubbing but can adjust them to not rub if you shift properly
