Yes. Alee knows his stuff. Good website full of tips and tricks as well as the guide, updated yearly with (probably) all the bikes available in quite a few categories.
I bought it in 2018 to make my buying decision and I still get updates annually.
Btw I ended up with a Kona Sutra and made a few changes based on what I found in the book and website; SON generator and light and Tubus front rack were my main additions.
Alee also has his youtube channel cycling about.
The bars he designed with Kona the ‘Denham’ are rather good too

Alee Denham is great touring creator, his website and youtube channel are full of little gems and I bought the touring buyers guide three years ago to find my current bike and I think it’s a great resource to help you narrow down your choices from a huge swath of options. Plus the first few dozen pages help explain the basics of what to look for and what the up- and downsides of many choices are. I think it’s a great bargain for the price and you get a yearly updated version for free.
He’s put in the miles to know his stuff!
