I always wander through the used parts of a local shop once a week and found this Fox Float DPX2 rear shock that’s locked up. They are asking $50 for it. Is it worth it to buy and try to rebuild?
Look at schematics on fox homepage, if you can release pressure in both chambers using a shrader i would buy it to try, my guess is an o ring cut and stuck somewhere.. Caution is with it being stuck its no guarantees its depressurized when opening
dekusyrup on
I mean it depends on the time and money you want to put into it. We don’t know what’s wrong with it. A refurbished one of these can be bought for like 300. The shop reckoned it was not worth it for them to do it, if that gives you a clue. But the technician in your own shop works for free.
