It looks functional as is. Change the brake padss, brake and derailleur cables, tires and you should be good to go

Kind of depends what you mean by ‘worth it’. The frame looks to be okay, but a lot of the other parts need to be changed because they’ll be rusty and stuck. Getting it running well again is going to cost you at least 200 euros. It’s also not a rare or valuable bike.
If you want a fun project and learn how to fix a bike, go for it! If you’re just looking for a reliable bike to ride, getting a used 90s MTB of Kleinanzeigen will be a much better option.

I have a similar bike and it was fine as is, except the old 27″ wheels that are a pain (one wheel hub was shot and one wheel would damage the tire, plus they were boat anchors). I replaced the wheel set for 700c, around $100 for a used Mavic pair with tires + $15 for a new front brake caliper with the proper reach for the smaller diameter wheel, and that’s about as much as the bike’s worth already, but it rides nicely and it’s still cheaper than a good condition road bike ($300 or so in my area for a basic but good bike). I have a spare 7 speed drivetrain so I’m in the process of upgrading that for almost free.
