Enduro ‘fancier’ stainless steel bearings in my rear hub, 2 rides <10 hours total.
Can somebody recommend good bearings so I don’t have to worry about them leaving the chat this quick?
This is what 2 rides on Enduro bearings sounds like.

what size are they or what hub do you have?
Cross loaded on install would be my guess.
I’ve never been impressed with Enduro bearings, but they should last longer than that. Agreed its probably install error and the inner race got some shmacked and dinged up the races.
Push them out and source the same sized bearing from NSK/NTN/skf or some other brand that isn’t marketed for mtb. Then use the correct size socket to beat it in with lol
Damn, that’s pretty bad for just 10hrs of use. I feel like there may be some other factor at play here, even cheap bearing packs should last a year or more.
Ive been down this road with various bearings and learned it’s usually either not pressed in fully or there is too much preload pushing on them. Bearings are designed to handle loads on one axis but if they get nearly any side load or cross load they will fail prematurely. Usually it’s not a quality of the bearings thing, usually it’s setup and alignment/tolerance thing
Is it installed the right way around.? Also inspect your axle. I’ve had bearing failure due to deformation on the mounting shoulder on the axle shaft.
