I’m looking for a bike to get into riding. I’ve been casually looking for one and doing some research to try and get an idea of what a good beginner bike and deal would be. This seems like a fine bike to start with but I’m not sure if it’s a good deal or overpriced. I was hoping to get some more experienced opinions.
This is the description on Facebook marketplace: Aluminum alloy forks and wheels, 27 speed Shimano gears, 52cm, still have original manual.
Any input is appreciated. TYIA

Absolutely.
Edit: just confirm whether any drivetrain components need replacing. But I’m an advocate for big tubed alloy frames. Others might disagree. If you think you’re likely to have the desire to bike shook out of you by the road, you might start out on something else.
Oh heck yeah, ultegra on a cannondale frame made in USA babey! And if all the brakes, tires, drivetrain is in good condition then double heck yeah.
I agree with other folks. If everything is in working order, it’s worth $300!
