      I haven’t figured out the formula for a helmet that matches. You might look at the KAV helmet.

      I have no idea what will fit your head. You just got to try stuff on.

      I’m a big fan of what Lazer is doing with the new Kineticore stuff.

      The one you have appears to fit pretty good. Is there any other reason you have for wanting something else? Lighter weight, MIPS or something else similar? Better airflow, aerodynamics or pads that don’t itch?

      What’s your budget? Top of the line helmets can be $300 or more.

      All helmets are pretty much the same in terms of “niceness” once you cross a certain price. I find smith to have nice colours as well as POC

      Never black, always white. It’s just way safer, visibility and whatnot and it looks better.

      As a few folks have said, sizing/fit is dependent on the helmet, so best to go to your LBS and try some stuff on. Almost all helmets come in at least two different sizes.

      In terms of fashion, comfort, and safety, POC is on top. Does everyone have one? Yes; but there’s a reason. They are very light, comfortable, safe, and stylish. The Omne or Ventral are both great choices.

      Specialized also makes quite good looking helmets with a few more options than POC with some good bang for your buck. See the Propero, Prevail, Search, and Loma.

      At the end of the day, whatever helmet you *want* to wear and that fits you correctly is going to be the best choice. Happy trails! 🙂

      I’m also a maap top / assos bottom enjoyer.

      My favorite helmet is the POC ventral air in hydrogen white. Unfortunately it fits me like a mushroom. So I went with my 2nd choice of the Sweet Protection Falconer 2vi in bronco white.

      Both of those helmets are known ‘fashion helmets’.

      No idea what a nice helmet is. If you have a helmet that fits you, that’s all you need. If you’re looking for something that gets more attention then the world’s your oyster. I guess form over function.
