I recently bought a used mountain bike and have to replace the brake pads. I’d appreciate some help on which replacement pads to buy. The current setup has Shimano metallic pads that say F03c on them. The brake setup says Shimano Deore XT.
Could I please get a recommendation on what I should buy? It’s for the pads only, as they squeaked hard the first time I rode them, and even after cleaning them thoroughly, the squeaking was severe.
I would be doing beginner trails on a cross country mountain bike.
Do I need to buy the exact same model, or is there a good alternate brand. Thanks in advance for any tips. I’m quite new to this.

those arent even brake pads anymore haha just buy new the same pads. New ones should last you awhile. You’re dam near down to metal, thats why they squeak so bad no matter how much you clean them. Part number should also be somewhere on the caliper or up on the lever end if you want to double check yourself(the f03c number)
