Every year, Yosemite National Park opens up Glacier Point Road to bikes a day before it is opened to cars for the summer season. That day was yesterday, and along with hundreds of other very happy cyclists, I rode out and back to Glacier Point. This view of Half Dome is from an oft-photographed turn just above Glacier Point. I rode from Bridalveil Falls, for a total lof 50 miles and 6000′ climbing.
