It’s a 2021 BMC Roadmachine 01 ONE – Professionally Repaired, 3,106.6 Miles. It was a floor model. I paid around $9,500 for it after taxes.
A friend is interested in buying it and I am of course being transparent about the accident.
Model: 2021 BMC Roadmachine 01 ONE
Full build here: https://us.bmc-switzerland.com/collections/bike-archive-road/products/roadmachine-01-one-bikes-bmc-21a-000195?_pos=3&_fid=a49029099&_ss=c
Mileage: 3,106.6 miles
Drivetrain: SRAM Red eTap AXS (same as stock)
Wheels: Not included – I’m keeping the ENVE 3.4s for another bike (unless it would make more sense to include and buy new wheels?)
Condition and History:
• Crash 1: Minor slide that caused cosmetic scratches to some components
• Crash 2: Hit by a car turning right while I was going ~37 MPH. The chainstay was damaged and professionally repaired by Calfee Design (widely regarded as a top-tier carbon repair shop). Paint match is flawless. I paid $700 for the repair.
• Handlebars were also replaced with either the same model or a comparable equivalent as a result of damage from the second crash.
Photos (attached): The full bike photo is post repair. I’ve added a few shots of the chain stay before it was repaired.
There’s no visible sign of structural damage after the repair, and the bike rides perfectly. I’ve disclosed everything to my friend and would do the same for any buyer.
Happy to answer any questions — just trying to get a fair sense of value post-repair.

Zero that’s dead. Sell the parts
Tough to say. The fact that the bike had structural repair done – however perfect and correctly it might have been done – would definitely be a factor for most buyers, and the price should reflect that fact.
I’d look up similar year builds for sale out there, and then discount based on the repair.
Maybe add more photos post repair instead of so many of the shredded chainstay?
My gut for the frame and parts but no wheels was “less than $2000” and then did a quick Google search and all the for sale “2021 bmc roadmachine one for sale” search results that show up for me are mid-$2000s so I say $2000 for market resale
So, depending on your financial status (and, I’m making *some* assumptions based on the fact that you even have a $9.5k bike that you’ve only of put 3k miles on in four years), I would just give it to your friend and let them buy you dinner.
calfee does legit work but id say without the wheels its a 1000-1500 dollar bike now. the value is mostly in the group.
Four year old used/damaged/repaired, $1000-$2000
for the frame: 50% more than the repair seems fair: $1050.
the groupset, what’s the second hand market offering for that? a quick ebay search shows $900 – $1600. yours is significantly scratched up.
everything is installed and setup also adding value $150
I’d list it for as much as $2699 on Marketplace to see what happens.
For a friend, I’d be reluctant to sell it to a friend, quite frankly. maybe as much as $1499 and have him sign an acknowledgment that he’s getting a great deal because you’re friends. (only half joking)
If it were me, I probably part it out.
Zero, parts worthy
