Stage three 2025 Giratalia starting and ending in velour. That’s in Albania. It’s our third of three stages in Albania before we head back over to Italy. And this one’s going to be a tough one. One day after the TT and one day after Primus Raglitch took the pink jersey and Josh Tarling the stage win. We have 160 km, the same as stage one. This time though, we have two climbs. One smaller one and then a serious climb that tops out with around 40 kilometers to go. So, what are the riders going to do? Well, with the serious climb like this, we could see some GC battles taking place. We could also see the battles going on, of course, for the stage win. But is it too far out for GC riders to give it a go or stage hunters to give it a go? Surely the attackers will give it a go. But the GC guys, it’s a lot to gamble. 40 km to race downhill. Primos Ragglitch, Red Bull, Borro Hans Groy, they’re going to go into defense mode in that pink jersey. He got it on day two the same as fellow Slovenian last year in the 2024 Giratalia Tare Pagachar. Can he defend it and hold it on for the rest of this Giodalia? Well, that remains to be seen. It’s going to be a big battle and the battle is going to come namely from team UAE Emirates because if we look at that GC, we got Isaac Doto Toro in there. We got Brandon McNoli who did a good TT and we also have Juan Auso. Then other riders like T Beiri and we need to mention Michael Store who’s just been on a banger lately winning the Tour of Alps and then coming in here riding great in stage one and stage two. So a lot is to play for as we look into this mid mountain stage, stage three, our final day in Albania. What’s going to happen? Who’s going to get the stage? And will Primos Raglitch defend the Malia Rosa?
