When observing the 2 finger rule, the retention wheel sits really high on the back of my head, at the very top of my occipital. If I tip it back some, then there’s a bit more coverage.
Kinda feeling pretty naked out back!

No clue if it protects your head but you actually look cool wearing a helmet! That’s pretty rare so kudos to you!
Helmets are always compromise. You need to have space to see, space to breathe,…
Most bike helmets are meant to be used while you’re active and about. So for that they don’t want to wrap around the whole head. This one goes down even more than most, but also they protect the back of the head by sticking out meaning it’s not really likely to hit there.
What are you using your helmet for? MTB, commuting, road,…?
