  1. I got a bin of old chain, a few messed up wheels and rotate I’d like to see if I can make a wind chime out of

  2. I recently just donated all my spare and hoarded components to the local co-op.

I put all the metal scrap in a bin that I give to a scrapper when I can, for the components, if they’re fixable, I keep them in a special bin and I fix them in my spare time to use on projects or I offer them very cheap to accomodate less fortunate customers.

If you can’t donate to a local co-op or other non-profit, most bike shops will take this shit. Now, they don’t want your crappy old components, we have plenty of those, but what we also have is a guy who recycle our waste metal.

So, we’ll accept items we know our scrap metal guy wants.
