Another Ozark Trail G1 in the wild. I stripped it down to the frame and built it up with mostly parts I had collecting dust. Took it on a quick shakedown and it rides very nice. Still need to make some adjustments with handlebars, seat height, and levers.

It will be my slow group ride and touring/bikepack rig.

Parts:

  • FSA Energy Modular Crankset 48/32
  • Sunrace 11-40 Cassette
  • Microshift Centos 11 Speed Brifters
  • GRX Derailleur (not sure which model)
  • Mavic Ksyrium Elite Wheels
  • American Classic Aggregate 700×50 running tubeless
  • TRP Spyre Calipers
  • Redshift Cruise Control Grips
  • FSA SLK Stem and seat post.
  • Garmin Vector 3 Pedals
  • Unknown ready to snap anytime chain
  • Specialized Seat until my Brooks C17 arrives.

I’m really enjoying mine, but I haven’t made as many upgrades as you have. Enjoy!

Something about going to all the effort to replace the wheels just to use those hubs, I find hilarious.

Can I ask how much you spent on the entire build? Value of the parts you had laying around?
