Another Ozark Trail G1 in the wild. I stripped it down to the frame and built it up with mostly parts I had collecting dust. Took it on a quick shakedown and it rides very nice. Still need to make some adjustments with handlebars, seat height, and levers.
It will be my slow group ride and touring/bikepack rig.
Parts:
- FSA Energy Modular Crankset 48/32
- Sunrace 11-40 Cassette
- Microshift Centos 11 Speed Brifters
- GRX Derailleur (not sure which model)
- Mavic Ksyrium Elite Wheels
- American Classic Aggregate 700×50 running tubeless
- TRP Spyre Calipers
- Redshift Cruise Control Grips
- FSA SLK Stem and seat post.
- Garmin Vector 3 Pedals
- Unknown ready to snap anytime chain
- Specialized Seat until my Brooks C17 arrives.

I’m really enjoying mine, but I haven’t made as many upgrades as you have. Enjoy!
I love seeing rebuilds of this bike. Looks like a fun ride.
do these have through axles?
Something about going to all the effort to replace the wheels just to use those hubs, I find hilarious.
Can I ask how much you spent on the entire build? Value of the parts you had laying around?
This Ozark looks like it rides lighter than its real weight
