My wife wanted to try a full squish and I didn't want to spend a ton. Got a 2009 specialized Enduro expert. Rebuilt the fork, new brakes, dropper, 1x, etc, and it's a great bike. Just wanted to point out that you don't need the latest tech to have fun on a bike.

Not only are old bike’s not underrated, but you got your hands on one of the biggest disasters in suspension ever.
That thing came with a 25mn front axle 6” dual crown fork that had 150mm of travel. The GOOD ones went back once or twice, the bad ones went back 5-6 times then got a fox fork like that one has.
the shock was only slightly better.
i remember these! also the Pitch. They were $1500 i think and got a lot of people shredding in my area.
I remember hopping on my buddies one of these back in 2010, and hating it. I had an 09 reign x then, and loved it, but pedaling the thing was soo ass compared to new bikes.
