Hi, all. I'm in Adelaide, Australia and have thrashed my $100 K-Mart bike to death.

I think I've narrowed my choices down to these two but happy to hear of alternatives.
I understand these to be refenced as "entry level" but they will be an upgrade to me

30 M and 182cm (6ft) and will be riding in the hills on both paved and off road trails, maybe two times per week. Nothing too crazy but I take the opportunity to ride rougher terrain or get a little air time hopping up or off a ledge or bump.

Both these bikes cost about $600 AUD and I'd like to keep the budget around that but may be convinced of stretching that number.

If there's anything I've forgotten, let me know and thank you all in advance!

The Reid is a better bike but the Pedal comes with local bike shop build/support so would come down to how good you are with a bike wrench
