I noticed this rhythmic clunking sound from my rear hub the other day. It only happens when freewheeling, and the exact sound depends on the position of the pedals/cassette. Is it time for a new freehub body?

Related question: so far I can’t find the correct freehub body for my hub (Deore LX FH-T670) locally in NZ. This [random comment](https://www.mtbr.com/threads/compatibility-between-two-shimano-deore-lx-freehubs.626671/?post_id=7016563&nested_view=1&sortby=oldest#post-7016563) suggests that any 8/9 speed Deore body will fit. Does anybody know if this is correct? And by “fit” I mean compatible with existing cone and seal, not just the body interface.
