I change it once a year and I mostly just ride weekends in the summer but I might be overdoing it to keep my knees in one piece.
Get it lubed up on the stiff links, should work fine then.
I am riding my chain for 1 1/2 years with no issues. But if you want to be safe, change it
Did it not come with spare links? My buddy ran his chain for about 4 years
That might be due for a replacement. Maintain the new one well with cleaning and chain lube and it should last a really long time for you. I’ve had them last 5+ years of hard riding!
