Great bike, great groupset. Compared to what you could get on a “modern” bike this is a steal. Although, $800/100 would be better

If the drivetrain is not worn, and the wheelset has not been ridden to death. It’s worth looking at it.
My concerns would be high mileage wheels . Crash history. Worn drivetrain. If the owners trustworthy and everything adds up and it’s low mileage. The drivetrain alone is worth 1200. So like even if something went wrong with the frame. You could still get a different frame do a frame swap and not be totally F’d.
That’s potentially a lot of bike for 1200 bucks. It’s like this or get some thing with alloy frame low end Claris or Sora, and pro max brakes for 1200 bucks…
I don’t like seeing it clamped by the top tube there though.
