The opening round of the British Superbike Championship was abandoned following a horrific 11-bike crash.

The incident occurred at the start of the Supersport Feature support race at Oulton Park, where one bike caught fire amid the pile-up.

Hi everyone, I welcome you to my channel Nice Niveon. Today we have some important and unfortunate news regarding the British Superbikes event at Alton Park. The race was cancelled following a severe accident involving multiple riders. The incident took place at turn one where 11 riders were involved in a crash. Among those affected were Carl Harris, Shane Richardson, and Cory Tinker. One of the bikes even caught fire, leading to an immediate red flag and a prompt medical response on the track. Race director Stuart Higgs described the event as severe and catastrophic. This serves as a stark reminder of the inherent risks in high-speed motorcycle racing. Our thoughts are with the riders, their families, and everyone impacted by this incident. Safety remains the top priority in motorsport and we hope for a speedy recovery for all involved. Thank you for watching. Subscribe to my channel for more updates.

  1. More men die in F1 because you can let go of a motorcycle but are stuck in a car
From my experience , motorcycles maim, but don't kill

  2. Why do you feel it necessary to show the crash when no-one else has, even the news channels. It was well documented in the news and the grieving families could well do without some twat posting this crap just to get views for their crummy channel. You should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself. R.I.P Owen Jenner & Shane Richardson. Blessed Be. 👽

  3. I sadly see far too little braking and avoidance, comparatively long after the accident is obvious (the last bike hits one on the ground 8 full seconds after the first accident.), from the oncoming traffic.
Skill, racing greed, density of the pack.
Whatever the reasons, this doesn't look one bit proper from afar.
RIP to the riders that came out the worst.

  4. Looks like some one high-sided, and landed in the middle of the pack. Ducking really bad luck.

I am 54, passed my motorcycle test at 21. Do not own a car, have not since I got the real licence.

    Run a ‘98 Suzuki.

Cancelling the event? Correct choice. No one sane is going to want to have ‘fun’ after that.

  5. This tragic accident brings home the reality of the signage 'Motor Sport is Dangerous' that we see trackside at any motor sport event.
As a spectator I am always aware of this and marvel at the skills of the riders or drivers.
I do agree with the narration of the incident but we don't need to see it.
Any loss of life is dreadful even more so when people are doing something they enjoy and providing enjoyment for others.
Rest in peace Shane and Owen. 😢

  6. Think it should be taken down I don’t think the family’s want to see the replay have some respect for those that have lost their loved ones
