I know my bike is on the lowest end for quality of bikes, but I haven't had it long or looking to upgrade to a whole new one just yet. What I was wondering is what would be a good seat to swap with the factory one when it's causing low back/hip pain after 11 miles 😅 I've for sure caught the cycling bug, but wasn't sure I would first getting into the hobby, hence why I got a $100 bike from a family member, and just want to keep my current bike until I've saved enough and can justify purchasing a whole new bike. TIA

Kudos for getting after it on the beach cruiser! I could never do more than pedal soft and sip a margarita while riding one of those.
Try raising the seat before you buy a new saddle. The position of a beach cruiser isn’t really conducive to anything other than a big couch cushion of a saddle.
Bike seats fit your sit bones. A good bike shops have might have a digital tool you sit on that measures this to get the correct width. But that’s like expensive bike fitting option. For something like this just go to a bike shop and get a basic entry level saddle. It’s counter intuitive for ‘comfort’ but you actually want a saddle that’s smaller. Like something you would see on any mountain or road bike.
Have you tried raising the saddle? Looks like yours is all the way down and those bars are pretty tall too. It could be your riding position and not the saddle per se.
Upright seat position gives the spine a full shock load. Road bike position gives about equal to abs and back shock load. I’ve never had back pain after a bike ride on my road bike.
Jesus. Well at least you’ll definitely feel the difference whenever you finally upgrade to something light.
