Hi everyone! I started cycling last year and was really excited to buy my first long sleeve top from Rapha, but after trying it on it feels a bit too small. Could you please advise?
I’m currently traveling and staying at an Airbnb, so I can’t try it on with my bibs right now, but I need to decide whether to keep it or return it.
I’m 6’5” and went with a size L based on online reviews, but I think I might have needed an XL.

does look pretty small. how is it, comfort-wise? can you move your arms at all?
Skip XL and go XXL
I’m 5’10” and I wear Large in these Rapha long sleeves. It’s way to small for you, just by looking at it.
Wait to try it on with bibs. Jerseys never look right with normal clothes because they’re cut to be worn on a bike with bibs. I think it is probably not too small.
Rapha run really short in the torso – but this is usually so you have a good fit when you’re actually riding your bike.
As for arm length, as a somewhat long armed person myself, I usually am balancing too short sleeves with torso bagginess…
I’ve also tried on jerseys without bibs and I usually look REALLY bad in the mirror. I’d consider waiting to try with bibs and an on bike position if you can.
