🚴♂️ Solo Ride & Unexpected Group Challenge | SPE Club Encounter 🚴♂️
As usual, I set off for another solo ride, enjoying the open road and the rhythm of my own pace. After ticking off a major bucket list achievement—203 km in one ride!—I wasn’t expecting much more excitement.
But fate had other plans. By coincidence, I found myself riding alongside a local road bike club: Sprinters Pistards Eckbolsheim (SPE). Staying at the back of the pack, I was determined to hang on—but when the gradient got serious, I got dropped!
Every ride teaches a lesson, and this one was no exception.
📍 Location: [Eckbolsheim, Grand Est, France] 💪

Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] [Music] Oh, heat, heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] [Applause] They lost me. So, I’ve been dropped specifically, I guess, cuz I’ve been surprised uh what route they take. I never did this climb, so I’ve been definitely a little bit careful. I don’t feel in shape that much and uh they were simply stronger I think so but it’s nice basically 49 km free of charge

For the first time in a group of riders, scared as hell 😀 So i used it as an excuse to stay on the back and was watching how they work.
