I already created a topic about Tailfin today, I decided to ask about another product. Since I'm already making an order, should I add Packing Cubes to my cart? https://www.tailfin.cc/product/accessories/packing-cubes/packing-cubes/?v=4605f628f91d

The price is high, of course, I can buy other dry bags that are lighter and cheaper, but these are the perfect size for the Tailfin bag. Does anyone use these? Is it worth it?

I don’t have them but do have the aero pack and for my own use-case they’d be redundant/a hassle/get in the way. I essentially stuff all my things within the aero pack, I’m often on the go and add new things/take things out rapidly, which don’t support the use of packing cubes.

The main advantage of the packing cubes is that you can quickly take them into your tent. I did that with my ortlieb ones and miss it.

Keep in mind the compression happens at the aero pack level, so packing cubes won’t help with that.

Let me know if you disagree, I’d love to hear other perspectives or use cases

It depends on your mental models around packing. If you enjoy separating things and banking that comfort I think they are likely worth it! It’s cliche but tailfin stuff is expensive but worth it. I can’t think of a better alternative, specially given the odd shape of the aero pack. The plastic bags would suffice but it’s not as elegant
