You pick a trike meant for a specific purpose and price point and equate it to ‘China bike industry’.
I’ve seen these used by not-sportive-enabled people to get around. Or people with less balance. Heck I’ve even help build a couple of these up for a special needs group a couple of years ago. ( flat bar version)
Not everyone needs the very excellent carbon or Ti or steel China frames with battery operated groupsets and tubeless carbon wheels .
