Hi all,I have a carbon bike that I use and will keep using regularly, but I do have a fetish for Colnago and next year I’m going to ride the Eroica again (I already did it this year). At 500 eur, the price seems a bit too good to be true (at least in this area), and it’s been posted a long time ago (although for 700). I’m wondering if this may be worth it or if it’s a silly gamble. From what I know (not a lot, but more than nothing) and from what one can tell from the picture, it looks in pretty good conditions.[Link 1](https://imgur.com/s1Lx5hr)[Link 2](https://imgur.com/L7wFu1i)Thoughts?

The pictures are too grainy to tell what condition it’s in, though it seems you can just make out the star shaped top and bottom tube which combined with internally routed brake cable and curvy fork blades would make it the first generation of master piu. If the above is correct and there are no dents or other damage then it’s probably worth that price for the frame alone.

  2. Check it out in person. If it ain’t rusted out, cracked, or dented it’ll be a good investment

  3. Worth admission but it’s had a rough life. NO respect for an excellent bike.
If it were me and I was planning on riding L’Eroica I would switch out the Shimano components and go all Campagnolo Super Record.

If it cks out, buy it and don’t look back…the masters w curved forks are real nice.
