I can't thank DirtyFreeHub enough for the content they have on their website. This is not a plug, and I am in no way sponsored; rather this is my unbiased opinion after struggling to discover gravel trails through AllTrails and Reddit and Strava.
This was a 41-miles ride along the Palouse to Cascades trail (between Thorp and Cle Elum, WA) and offered gorgeous views of windmills, Yakima River, interesting rock formations and I also got to ride through pitch dark railway tunnels, which was interestingly disorienting to the senses.

Palouse Trail!!!! Love that ride, So many different environments on the west portion. Have a great ride and Support Your State parks!! The East is fast improving too, with more amenities and communities embracing the travelers of the trail. Like the addition of the CCC crossing agreement with a private land owner (very generous of them, to offer a route across their land), plus its a wonderful reprieve from the endless straightaway. I still need to hit the last 80+/- miles from Carlmar / Benge-Ritzville rd East to Tekoa / Stateline.
