I recently got a new G-Line ordered from Brompton's website.
Took it for its first short ride this weekend and noticed the front wheel seems to oscillate side to side when it spins.
I checked and it feels securely fixed to the bike. Is there anything that can fix it or does it need a new wheel?
Also the rear reflector isn't fixed straight. Maybe I got a dud.
What’s wrong with my G-Line wheel?

Message them about the wheel. Either the tyre is slightly off or the wheel isn’t true. Not great if it’s brand new though
If your Brompton still in warranty call them and send them the video they should fix it but I can’t hear any sound
Is it the wheel or the tire? Take a video of the wheel edge instead, if the wheel is straight then it’s just a case of the tire being a bit wobbly.
Probs just a badly seated tyre. Your video doesn’t show enough to make a judgement
My c line had this issue. I took it to a bike shop and he fixed I think the bearing inside the wheel it self.
Fasten a cable/zip tie round the fork. Twist it round until it starts touching the rim. If there’s an intermittent scraping ( in sync with the wobble), then the rim needs truing. If not, the tyre isn’t seated properly
Rim needs truing, this happens with just about every new bike or any wheel I have built. Wheel is straight on the bench, I ride the bike for a week or so, then pull the wheel, re-true it and then the wheel generally runs true until something dumb happens, like a massive pot hole, or spouse drives into the bike in the garage. If you bought through a dealer, this is something that would be covered with the first tune-up where they will adjust brakes, shifters etc, for cables that stretch a bit during the first few uses, and re-true the wheels. It’s also possible that the tire isn’t seated well on the rim, deflate the tire look at the beed and make some small adjustments if necessary and re-inflate. Should not need a new wheel and this is not abnormal.
