Hey guys, complete gravel bike newbie. Bought my first gravel bike yesterday from a bike store and love it. I took the front wheel off the bike so I could fit it in my car to transport it home. When arriving back and putting to front wheel back on again, it is now making this really loud grinding noise when I ride and I don’t want to keep riding it incase I break something. I have hydraulic breaks if that gives any clues. Any help would be appreciated, cheers!

It’s the sound of your breaks. Perhaps should align better. Also make sure it’s tightened to 10 nm properly
Did you secure the brake pads when you took the wheel out? There are little red plastic clips you can push into the brake caliper so the pads don’t accidently close without the brake disk.
I’ve only ever had my brakes make this sound before, it may be due to misaligned rotor when you put the wheel back or some other situation with the rotor and caliper; look at this guide; your brake rotor should have a even space between the 2 brake pads check that and go from there:
