Shopping for my first nice road bike after putting in a lot of miles on my hybrid and old borrowed road bikes.
This 2017 Trek Domane full carbon with Ultegra Di2 is listed near me for $1300; includes carbon wheels (unsure which) and 2 Di2 batteries.
It seems from searching like the BB90 on Treks from this era might be a concern and also this is a lot of $$ for rim brakes.
Bigger picture, I'm willing to put in work to learn but I'm currently very much a rookie at maintenance – does that make it a bad idea to pick up this bike that's a lot of bike and somewhat older? Otoh don't want to miss out on a steal and riding something faster and nicer than I'll be able to afford new for a long time

8 year old di2, rim brake, used, bb90. I’d pass in favor or something newer. Just my thoughts though.
Rim brakes??
[10 speed Ultegra Di2](https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Shimano/Ultegra-6770-Di2-Electronic-Groupset-Package/2HUG) is not 2017. It is 5 years earlier. This is more of a 1k bike than 1.3k.
