Day 5 of my 888 km cycling journey along Lithuania’s border: what was supposed to be an easy 140 km ride under sunshine turned into a physical challenge. After the family reunion, I was left with an extra bag weighing around 10–15 kilograms (close to 30 pounds), strapped awkwardly on my bike. The heavy and unstable load made my wrists and back scream in pain throughout the day. Despite the struggle, I managed to reach a lakeside camping spot slightly later than planned. Another hard-earned day on the road!
