About 10 years ago a gravel cyslist was killed in the foothills just outside of Seattle. A couple years ago a juvenile attacked five elderly cyclists, almost killing one of them. This was in the same general area.
I have only seen one. It was the highlight of all my wildlife sightings. We were driving up a forest road miles from anything when it popped out of the woods on the right side of the road, slowed down while looking at us as it crossed, and the disappeared in the woods on the left side of the road. It was maybe 5 seconds and I didn’t even have time to power up my camera.
