Join us for a relaxed and fun 50-mile circular cycling adventure around the outskirts of Greater Manchester! We set off on the Bridgewater Canal at Worsley then move on to the PSG Port Salford Greenway, tracing a route inspired by the anti-clockwise M60. A delightful mix of suburban streets, canal towpaths, reclaimed railway tracks and scenic riverside trails. We even had a surprise encounter with the Manchester Marathon runners! From conquering unexpected cobbles to uncovering the legendary Mersey Stockport “Curry Pyramid,” this ride was full of surprises. We rolled through iconic spots like Barton, the impressive Manchester Ship Canal, the Trafford Centre, and neighbourhoods including Stretford, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Burnage, Stockport, Hyde, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Chadderton, Middleton, and Whitefield. Come along for the ride and experience a different route and a different side of Manchester that you probably didn’t know existed!
