Last July I got a good deal on my first bike, a Roscoe 7, during Trek summer sale. I very quickly became obsessed with learning how to shred and also how to maintain it myself. I know this isn't a particularly exciting bike, but I love it and I'm looking forward to many years before I start thinking about a new trail bike. Bonus pic of my State 4160 all-road, because it's brand new and I'm equally obsessed 😁
Anyway here's what I've done:
Spank spike bars/stem, PNW loam XL grips, funn chain ring bash guard, trek elite flats, wolf tooth spacers/top cap/dropper lever, e13 LG1 29" enduro wheelset, maxxis minion dhr ii/assegai tires, fsa flowtron dropper post, ergon sm pro saddle. I also put in a bottom bracket with better seals because mine was already pretty funky. All MX and tuneups for 200 hard miles done by myself.
The only upgrade that's obvious to me at this point is the fork. I'll wait a bit for that. Rockshox Pike maybe?

Nice… ✌️❤️
Nice bike man, I find it very exciting
That looks really good! Nice color combo also, you can get a Selle SMP X-Ray that is black and yellow if you think it would complete the look.
