I think it’s pretty nice looking as is, I get the need to personalize though. Maybe a vinyl decal with your name on it like some.kind of pro!

  2. This gets asked so much and I never underhand the logic of asking Reddit this – if you want it to be “unique / your own,” that’s a you decision, not an internet stranger decision.

Good as is. If you are itching for a little more uniqueness, maybe an overlay patterned protective wrap.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say: blue, orange, grey, and black

I would stick with the 3 colors of blue grey and orange. I don’t love the pedals you have on there but I love the saddle that ties in with the fork. Usually hate the look of the orange fork (because it only goes with a couple of color schemes) but adding some more orange would be the move here.

I think those three colors work really well together. Personally I wouldn’t add any different colors, I would try to find decals using that color scheme. Maybe invest in a cricut so you can make your own decals with custom colors

  7. maybe some gold rental bars would like good 😆 pair it with some blue grips too 😆

I never get why people like to put flashy cheap parts on their bike, like brightly colored grips, pedals, etc. Why highlight the cheap stuff? Highlight the expensive good stuff like the frame or suspension. If you want bright flashy shit that stands out get a super crazy color of frame, like a cosmic eggplant Druid, or some podium gold forks . I love the color of your frame with the kashima highlights. I feel like those things stand out enough. Fox orange never looks good imo, but if you like it, go for a bunch of orange parts. The oil slick doesn’t go with anything. Oil slick is tough. It looks great on its own. I think if you had a pink or purple bike you could do oil slick components, but not just one component, every component. Kashima, gold, bronze all look great on almost anything but they need to match. There are a lot of variation in kashima/gold/bronze, so getting them all to match is hard. Even kashima doesn’t match kashima

it’s just a bike until you ride it. it’s the way it looks when it’s ridden that makes it your own, not what it looks like with no one on it.

You already have that bright orange fork. I’d lean into it and get some orange pedals too. Bring the color to the back so there’s no hard divide. Maybe some orange decal overlays on the seatstays like a ride wrap out if you have a cricut make your own.
Or use the gray in the middle and spread it front and back, again you want the accents to be balanced. RideWrap has some nice gray patterned overlays

Not to sound like an asshole, but if you want to make it feel like your own, you should do whatever *you* like.

A couple of accent colors would be nice. Bar end caps, headset spacers, stem cap, cable crimps, I saw a set of wheels a while back with two colored spokes. Just two, it looked really good.
