I noticed I was using my city bike less and less. Turns out all I needed was to pimp it up. Now I literally can’t go anywhere without it and rides even better.

Things changed: Removed fenders and top chain cover (it doesn’t rain much in LA). Swapped stock rims for H+Son Archetype. Changed tires to Continental Grand Prix Classic 25mm. Added double kickstand and handle/strap for easier carrying (these two are life-changing if you live in an apt), replaced saddle and grips with Brooks.
Looks great. Double kick stand is very nice. If you park outside at all I would consider pinhead locks for all the important parts. Some kind of puncture resistance wil go a long way, too.

It feels so much lighter and pleasurable to ride. [This is what it originally looked like.](https://publicbikes.com/cdn/shop/products/PUBLIC-V7i-Commuter-British-Racing-Green_01_1800x1200_020884ce-21a2-4a33-92d8-7e483acf278e.jpg?v=1619045244&width=640)
