Happened on the third day of ownership while I was taking a sip of water, slid down while resting against me, and before I could react it had already hit the ground hard. Luckily it didn't affect any of the components, but it would be nice if there was any way to touch it up.

Nail polish maybe. Or even just a sharpie. But I wouldn’t worry about it too much, you’ll get plenty of dings and scrapes
It will be the first of many. But if you care, Emery cloth will rub it back to matte plastic.
While you are there rub the claris logo off both units for the stealth look 🙂
Display it proudly as a battle scar. Or ignore it. Up to you
Short of replacing the entire shifter, it’s very hard to fix something like this without making it look worse.
