I currently ride an entry level trek domane AL 2 that I’ve had for about a year and a half. As I’ve started riding more this spring I noticed my drivetrain is making some noise. I was going to take it into my local trek shop for servicing, but I realized the cost of their mid-tier service would be close to 30% of what the bike cost, and it seems like it may make more sense just to get a new bike. I came across this while searching online, would it a worthwhile upgrade? For reference I ride maybe 50-75 miles per week right now, but am looking to do more this summer.

Bcj is leaking again
I think as a daily commuter it’ll suffice but for longer rides or anything with a climb you’ll want something better like a Cervelo.
Dude, your logic is flawed. It doesn’t make more sense to spend thousands of dollars for a new bike then to go somewhere else for servicing that’s not track.
So if you want to keep the cost low as possible, your best option is to get it serviced somewhere else guarantee you can find cheaper maintenance
Now, if you want to use that as an excuse to get a new bike, you totally can are you unhappy with the Domane? Why not just get the carbon version with the Shimano DI2
I’d recommend checking the used market
