No type of glue should be used. Don’t modify safety equipment. Replace the helmet.

Fabric glue will probably be fine, but imo just take a needle and thread and sew it back together. Doesn’t have to be great, just enough to pull back the fabric

You should buy a new one from time to time. The styrofoam degrades.

Edit: apparently, i need to check the veracity of this idea.

Helmets are only supposed to last around 5 or 6 years. The foam breaks down. It’s probably best to replace it if it’s old enough.

  7. Needle and thread. Or replacement pads.

Looks like the helmet is on the end of it’s lifecycle through.

My helmet pads fall apart like this after a year or 2 of use. I sew the edges back together with needle and thread.

I would just buy a new one honestly, if parts are falling apart it makes me question the integrity of

  10. I have used gorilla fabric glue, and it worked well. Just need something that’s waterproof, or you will just sweat it off.

By the time that type of shits wears out is usually a good indicator on when to replace your helmet. A lot of company have crash replacement policies, Kali protectives will pay 100% for your crash replacement as an example. You only get one brain , keep it safe 😜
