I might try a different bike stem, one with some rise in it. Probably cheaper than getting a whole new bar. I’m 6′ 3″ and even on an XL sized bike I still like a bit more handlebar height than what comes out of the box. An extended stem will also move the bars slightly further from your body, which may or may not be desired depending on your fit. I think it’s worth trying though.
