  1. I have a 98 eros and love it. It has integrated shifters, not bar end like yours, so maybe newer or maybe someone got busy with one of them. I paid $250, so $200 sounds very fair to me

  2. The Eros was a good choice if you wanted a road triple in the mid 1990s. 200 is a fair price.

The shifters look ( from a ways off) like silver shifters from Riv. New the pair would cost almost 100 for the bar end version and are, in my opinion, an upgrade to the (trying to remember….) Mirage ergo shifters(?) That came stock.

But just my preference. You could sell them for sure to fund a switch, if you want .

But for my aesthetics, the first change would be the brake levers to something with a more classic form and silver.

Also, you might have a nitto technomic or tallux stem there (otherwise check to see if its overextended, few stems can safely get up that high and if its past the max extension line, that’s dangerous). A nitto stem is also worth something used, so all in all, the price is worth it.

Actually, with the stem and shifters, it looks like the previous owner paid a visit to Rivendell, or at least their website.
