I can’t help, but I’m curious what makes you think it’s worth something if you don’t know the brand?

Looks beautiful. Clean it, change the cables and pads, most like the chain too. And tires. These are quite easy to work on.

  3. Definitely worth more than £10. Reputable brand. Look for a serial number on underside of bottom bracket.

Looks similar to a 1960 Peugeot PA10 Classic, but there’s no Peugeot brand on the frame so probably not a Peugeot

It appears to be a Rossin Record. There’s a few on eBay if you want to make a comparison.

  6. I’ve parted bikes like this out and done very well on ebay. Some nut out there wants all of that old stuff for their completionist projects. Definitely worth more as parts than as a whole bike. Just clean everything up thoroughly and take very good photos.

Rossin is a prestigious brand, but I’d guess this must have been a lower-tier model. The Nuovo Record rear derailleur does not match the caliber of the other components, so I would guess it was added later in the bike’s life. The Weinmann sidepulls, swaged crankset, and suicide brake levers are all pretty poor quality. The Simplex Super LJ front derailleur is decent at least, but the general lugset, basic paintjob, nutted wheels, all point to a pretty average bike imo. Maybe somebody would pay a little premium for the name, but not the big bucks a real Rossin racing bike should command.

need a picture of the seat cluster. Rossin would have embossed “rossin” on the end caps of the seat stays. The embossing will tell you the rough year/ time frame. This looks like an early bike but the dropouts don’t look right either. I am suspicious it is not a rossin.
