Finally got around to upgrading my old Focus Cayo Al Sora 2016 with a full set of components sourced from China — we're talking L-TWOO shifters and derailleurs, Toopre chain, Sensah brakes, and some no-name but solid wheelset and cockpit bits.

Everything (except the frame) came straight from AliExpress or similar sites, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the performance-to-price ratio. Smooth shifting, strong braking, and the whole thing feels way more responsive now.

Is it Ultegra? No. Does it work? Hell yes.
I ride it daily for commuting and weekend rides, and it's been solid.

Ask me anything or roast me if you must — just don’t say I overpaid.

  1. Love to see Aliexpress builds. I think they’re unique and a fresh change of pace from expensive, high end components from name brands.

I myself built up a CAAD10 with Aliexpress components and it runs smoothly as well.
