I live in France near the ViaRhona and I try to do it at least once a year, each time shorter than the last! I have Tent+Mat+Towel in the saddle bag, rest of the tent+Sleeping back in the handlebag, lock+reparation in the frame bag, food+clothes in the two forkbags.
What's your favorite EuroVelo route ?

Im planning on doing the viaRhona, but south to north… is it bad? (Windy/uphill).
I was also planning to go up to Geneva from Grenoble, and you can either go through Chambéry or Alberville. If you know/could recommend one option, I’d appreciate it.
