I was trying to replace my seat post just now and when I pulled it off from the frame, I heard this clinking noise that fell into my frame. With several attempts to shake it out of the frame came this silver piece, which i have no clue how to put it back. If I understand this well, is this is part of the Seat Tube Insert? Is there any tips to put it back?

You have to remove the clamp assembly… But it’s glued to the frame. The process of removing will most likely destroy the insert. Contact Canyon
Use some grease to hold it in place temporarily and put the seat tube in a horizontal position. Insert the seatpost and it should be good.
