Canyon sizing is very accurate. Can’t make a bigger bike smaller.

always size down when in doubt. Can always get a bigger stem or longer seatpost but can’t cut the frame.
In my experience a smaller bike feels like you’re riding “on” the bike. Which makes it feel way more nimble and responsive.
A bigger bike feels like you’re riding “with” the bike. You feel way too stretched out and have a hard time controlling something that’s too big for you.
